I am a full-time housewife and proud mom of two adorable little ones. My journey into motherhood started about 10 years ago when I married an ophthalmologist. Not long after, I got pregnant for the first time, but back then, I had no clue what kind of diet I should follow during pregnancy — how much to eat, what to eat, or even when to eat. Like many new moms, I just went with my cravings and ended up munching way too much. That led to severe heartburn and a weight gain of nearly 20 kg!
After just three months after my first delivery, I was pregnant again — and suddenly I found myself caring for two tiny babies while struggling with intense coccyx (tailbone) pain. It was truly a nightmare. I couldn’t sit comfortably, let alone go for long drives or enjoy simple moments without discomfort.
Desperate for relief, I began exploring exercises to ease the pain — and that was the beginning of my wellness journey. I slowly realized that true health comes from nourishing yourself, not just eating less. Over the next five years, I experimented with different diets — from crash diets to high-fiber plans — but nothing really worked. It wasn’t until I understood how many calories my body actually needed and started focusing on a balanced intake — less carbs, more protein, and targeted exercises — that I began to see real change.
Not only did my body begin to transform, but my skin also started glowing. That’s when it hit me: nurturing yourself from the inside out is the real secret to a healthy lifestyle. I found my balance in nature — through whole foods, fresh fruits, and vegetables.
